Together we are empowered to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of our communities.ResponsibilitiesOur team at the Center for Cardiovascular Health at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested to join our Cardiac Electrophysiology team at St Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.The Cardiology-Electrophysiology (EP) APP will serve in both the inpatient and outpatient settings of comprehensive arrhythmia care. This role will complement the existing EP program at St. Joseph Medical Center which includes 3 physician electrophysiologists, 4 advanced practitioners, 2 nurse navigators, 1 Watchman Coordinator, and 3.5 device clinic nurses. Each of our EP APPs will rotate through the arrhythmia service and clinic, as well as do outpatient EP follow-up with patients. Additional duties include follow-up on device interrogation and remotes, and participating occasionally in general cardiology on-call coverage on the weekends. As part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you will be joining our electrophysiology team that includes the three tertiary care centers (St. Joseph Medical Center, St. Michael Medical Center, Virginia Mason Medical Center).QualificationsRequirements:

Nurse Practitioner Degree or Physician Assistant degree

Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Practitioner Exam through an accredited organization or Physician Assistant Certification

Licensed in the state of Washington prior to the time of employment

DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority

Current BLS

Cardiology ARNP/P.A. experience is preferred
