Together we are empowered to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of our communities.ResponsibilitiesNeurosurgery ARNP or Physician AssistantFTE: 0.75Advanced Practice ProviderTacoma, WAWe are seeking a skilled, dynamic, and personable Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA) to join our Neurosurgery practice in the Franciscan Medical Group. Join a group of highly respected neurosurgeons and APPs (ARNPs/Physician Assistants) based at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma.This new APP will provide medical services and contribute to the design and delivery of high quality, cost effective, values- based patient care for our patients under the supervision of Neurosurgeons and team Medical Director. Clinic based with hospital rounding duties, working 3-4 days per week.St. Joseph Medical Center provides state of the art resources including Stryker Navigation, Medtronic Stealth, Leksell Gamma Knife, and Neuro ICU-PCU units. The medical community has an excellent network of neuroscience physicians including neurologists, anesthesiologists, critical care physicians, ED physicians, and PM&R specialists. There is superb radiology support including seven neuroradiologists and two highly skilled neurointerventional radiologists who treat complex neurovascular conditions. A comprehensive trauma team admits and cares for trauma patients with neurosurgical consultation. We have a close working relationship with the orthopedic spine surgeons in our community. We do not treat children, as they are cared for at a pediatric hospital outside of our system.QualificationsRequired Education:

Bachelor’s and Masters (ARNP or PA-C)

Completion of an accredited two (2) year physician's assistant program or accredited ARNP program required.

Experience:

2 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience preferred

Required License/Certification:

Washington State License.

National certification required.

BLS/CPR certification.
