We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in operating miter saws and/or woodworking equipment, with a focus on precision and safety. Full time position in our Spokane Valley warehouse. Looking for someone with a positive attitude, ready to work and add value to our company!

About Us

We are a small wholesale company with 6 employees (in our Spokane location). Selling picture framing supplies to the NW region since 1977. The company started in Seattle and we have been serving Spokane as well since 1990. We supply products to an awesome small business customer base that are all owner operators.

The position consists of cutting and joining wood and aluminum picture frames to specified sizes. Also, general warehouse work: pulling orders, stocking inventory, keeping work areas clean and other assigned tasks. We have four different double miter saws, a pneumatic under-pinner to join the frames and other equipment that the position requires using. Must be comfortable with power equipment, detail orientated, good working with numbers and OK with heights (we use an 11’ stair like ladder to pick orders). If you like working with your hands and enjoy the art community this is for you! Wage depends on skills, experience, and qualifications. After meeting days worked requirements, we offer paid holidays, 401K matching up to 4%, PTO up to 3 weeks, and profit sharing.

Other Duties

Operate and maintain various types of saws to cut materials to specified dimensions.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on saw equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

Strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements

- Know how to read a tape measure (lots of fractions)

- Comfortable running power equipment (double miter saws)

- Self Motivated, organized, professional

- Respectful to others

- Lift and carry 65 lbs.

Pay: DOE
