Project Engineer/ Project Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in estimating and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects align with project specifications, budgets and timelines. This position requires a high level of organization, understanding of construction management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Duties

Develop and takeoffs and estimates from plans and specifications.

Utilize Microsoft Excel, HeavyBid and Bluebeam software for project estimation, bidding, and documentation.

Coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, budget and quality standards.

Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Utilize construction management software for tracking project progress and reporting.

Assist in resolving any issues that arise during the construction process, providing solutions that align with project goals.

Prepare regular updates for stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and achievements.

Requirements

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in construction management or engineering roles.

Proficiency in using construction management software and tools such as HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Microsoft Project and Bluebeam.

Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and methodologies.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Experience working on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
