We are seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Technician II/III to join a respected food and beverage manufacturer in Omak, WA. Requires Second/Third Shift Availability.
Location: Omak, WA relocation assistance available for strong candidates
Pay Rate: $35- $38 per hour
Duration: Permanent, full-time role directly hired with company
Start Date: ASAP
Essential Functions of the Job:
Perform all duties required of Production Maintenance Mechanic II.
Maintain complete maintenance records and PM schedules for all equipment and facilities.
Recommend equipment modifications to improve the process, productivity and finished product quality.
Analyze performance issues related to equipment, tear down inspect components and replace as needed
Troubleshoot equipment to define root cause and repair in a timely manner.
Maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and expense to the company.
DMAIC, Design, measure, analyze, implement and control mechanical process improvements.
Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
Practice continuous improvement concepts in all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance.
Locate critical spares in the market for those items not in inventory.
Implement factory recommended equipment maintenance schedules and develop schedules for areas where none exist.
Repair downed equipment in a fast-paced time critical environment.
Train and Coach Associates on technical and procedural duties.
Other duties as assigned.
To be a fit for this role:
3-5 years of production maintenance experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry
Experience with PLCs, robotics, and electrical troubleshooting
Self-Starter
Experience with Oracle is a plus
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing practices
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
