Ground Up Road Construction is looking for team-oriented Heavy Equipment Mechanics. We have built a solid reputation as the industry leader for Asphalt Milling, Asphalt Pulverization, and in-place Soil Stabilization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Communicate effectively.
Apply common sense and good judgment to everyday situations.
Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Perform scheduled and/or preventive maintenance.
Diagnose, repair and maintain a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.
Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts.
Overhaul and test major components, such as engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment and components.
Travel to worksites to repair heavy equipment.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid and current driver’s license.
2 yrs of heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred.
Competent techniques and practices of maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude are required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
