Construction company looking for a full time in house and field technician with experience in Heavy equipment and Heavy truck repair and maintenance, as well as passenger vehicles and pick-up trucks.
Some examples include Tele-handlers (reach forklifts), boom-lifts, scissor lifts, semi-trucks and equipment trailers. Boom truck and crane, gas powered welders and other small engine powered equipment.
This would be for a single position, operating alone in a 60x90' four bay well equipped repair shop, to operate and manage all repairs and maintenance of company assets. This requires the person to be a self-starter and self-motivated to perform job duties. The position is an 8-5 Monday thru Friday position with occasional exception of Saturday work that would be discussed. Closed all major holidays.
Requirements:
Supply your own tools, your tool inventory should allow you to complete all duties related to repair and maintenance of the examples above. Shop is equipped with most heavy tools needed.
Travel will be required at times to repair equipment in the field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in repair and maintenance in the above fields
Must have working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical circuits.
Must be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Must have knowledge and experience in diesel- and gas-powered engine repair and maintenance.
Must have knowledge of small engine repair and maintenance.
Must have experience and be able to complete state and federal DOT inspections as required.
Welding Experience preferred.
Additional experience recommended:
Fabrication experience
Welding Certifications AWS/WABO all position FCAW and/or SMAW preferred.
Compensation would include wage based on experience and once probationary time is expired Full medical dental and vision benefits are available.
