Full-time construction position in award-winning Design/Build construction firm located in Spokane, WA. Projects range from high-end, full renovation of residential and commercial locations to lighter touch projects focused on furniture and home accessory installations, typically working with design plan created by on-staff interior design team.
Job site locations are in and around Spokane, WA, which is in eastern Washington near the Idaho border. Residence in, or relocation to, Spokane area is required for position.
Job requirements:
Ability to use range of power and hand tools to carry out range of common construction tasks to include demolition, rough framing, finish carpentry to include cabinetry buildup and installation, drywall, as well as various hardware installation.
Ability to work with construction plans and familiarity with construction codes
Ability to coordinate, oversee, inspect and accept subcontractor work for plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
Need to be able to lift/carry heavy or large items at times
Must have own transportation
Own and maintain common hand tools, to include drill set. Other power and/or specialized tools provided for use.
Highly desired skills
Finish carpentry experience, to include ability to install trim, door, window and cabinetry installation
Experience hanging, taping and texturing drywall
Pay $18-28/hour rate ($37,440-58,240), depending on experience, with paid time off, paid major holidays, as well as health insurance and cell phone allotments available after 90 days.
