Automotive Technician
$20 - $30 an hour DOE
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to assist us with transmissions R&R and total car care services. Our techs diagnose customer vehicle problems, and accurately prescribe correct repair actions, and promptly deliver the required services. We meet or exceed customer expectations. Our company promotes a culture of cooperation and collaboration among all techs.
Automotive Technician Responsibilities
Use shop equipment such as lifts, welders, diagnostic equipment, etc. with confidence and in accordance with all safety procedures
Expertly diagnose issues based upon experience, analysis, and testing
Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact
Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components
Repair automobiles and light trucks that run on multiple fuel sources
Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena
Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities
Leading or train other, less qualified, technicians in maintenance/repair activity when required
