The Exchange is looking to hire a dedicated person who enjoys working with a variety of businesses of various sizes and has excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities include: Helping existing customers create effective ad campaigns that includes both print and digital presence; Contacting new customers on a weekly basis by making phone calls, emails and networking;Be able to effectively search information online; Be able to understand and use social media; Be able to back up staff when things get busy & help with weekly administration duties.
Other Duties include but are not limited to: Answering phones; Greeting and helping walk-in customers; Data entry; Using a cash register; Occasional driving (to post office, bank, meetings, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree and experience in the real estate & media industry desired.
Our business works on weekly and daily deadlines, therefore things can get a little hectic! Most of our staff have been here an average of 15 years and love the energy of publishing and production work. We all work hard and do our very best for both our customers and readers. The applicant must be positive, creative and show initiative.
The Exchange is a locally owned company. We publish the Exchange weekly paper with editions in Eastern Washington, North Idaho, Lewiston/ Clarkston & Wenatchee/ Moses Lake. We also maintain active digital products (www.PacificNW.Exchange), produce various Show Guides and several seasonal glossy magazines.
