We are a local independent insurance agency looking for an experienced insurance agent to join our team. We are a close-knit family-oriented agency. We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy person with honesty and integrity. Must be a team player and self-motivated.
Our hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30am to 5:30pm
Friday 8:00am to Noon
Duties include but not limited to:
Current Property and Casualty License Required
Writing polices - Primarily personal lines
Help customers get the best policy with accurate coverages
Manage Renewals
Policy changes, coverage questions and claims service
Attention to detail and great documentation skills are a must
Generate insurance quotes
Strong communication skills
Maintain knowledge of new products
Review insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy
Ability to transition between multiple tasks
Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
Familiarity with multiple insurance carriers to process quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
Handling of money and payments
Knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel

Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year – Based on experience
