Organization Overview: As Assistant Manager, you will be supporting our year-round custodial cleaning operation that takes place at Fairchild Air Force Base. When you work with us at Skils’kin, you will lead your team and empower them to grow professionally.

You will serve Skils’kin and our customer with integrity and accountability and make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities through coaching, training, and mentoring. This Assistant Manager works together with the Project Manager in all efforts related to our Fairchild Air Force Base cleaning contract.

This includes but is not limited to hiring new employees, planning and creating workload schedules, and working directly in the field as needed. This management team works with all custodians and supervisors under their leadership intentionally on growth and development.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience in professional cleaning industry or similar commercial operation.

Believes in adhering to quality standards and in quality control findings as a positive tool for improvement.

Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to build high functioning teams and a strong willingness to collaborate with others ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Growth mindset, willingness to learn and grow in your job.

Working knowledge using technology to enhance work efficiencies, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook Email) and cloud-based programs.

Professional and competent in communication whether verbal or written.

Proficient and comfortable in networking and in organization of work that requires flexibility.

Relates to all others with respect and empathy.

Also necessary:

Must be willing to submit Skils'kin pre-employment background check.

Fairchild Air Force Base Contractor's Badge- must pass separate clearance check.

Provide background information for full Federal background check to enable unescorted access to Child Development Center and Youth Programs facilities.

Provide immunization records and / or agree to immunizations necessary, also required for CDC and Youth Programs facilities.

Must be 18+ years of age and have current valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position is a full time hourly paid position and pay is issued every two weeks.

Skils'kin pays on your behalf an additional fringe rate towards options for medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) retirement savings.

You will also earn paid time off.
