Mechanical Assembly
Responsibilities
Assemble fabricated parts per blueprints, examples, or oral instruction
Reads and interprets blueprints and mechanical drawings as needed. Test and calibrate mechanisms
Use hand tools, power tools, welders, etc. to achieve finished product
Assemble motors, gear boxes, and drives per manufactures specs
Package products for shipping
Load trucks for shipping using forklifts and overhead cranes.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude
Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus
Basic knowledge of industrial electrical and pneumatics
Some welding experience
Must be a self-starter and be able to work alone or with a team
Must be willing to work overtime
Willing to submit to a pre-employment and random drug screening
Able to supply own hand tools
