Marine Paint 1 – Entry Level

About the Position:

The Paint 1 is an entry level position at Raider Boats. This is a training heavy position that many current team members started in. The role consists primarily of Pre Paint surface preparation, taping, protecting, polishing and blending of raw mill scale aluminum. This position is the foundation of everything ahead, this is where you will learn what is needed prior to the application of paint, know what to look for and how to perform. As this position develops this position will also be utilized and trained in blending and rework preparation. Additional duties may include cleaning, loading boats on trailers, the final detailing of boats as well as general shop clean up.

This is a position in which applicants will be served well by being adaptable. Workflow can vary, which in turn dictates where the individual is needed around the shop. The right applicant will be passionate about the trades and eager to help IN ALL departments, as that is where growth opportunities at Raider Boats currently exist. We are looking for someone eager for more opportunity with a positive attitude and drive to grow.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Interest in painting / ability to paint.

● Interest in bodywork or bodywork experience

Current Schedule is 4-10’s: Mon-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Pay: DOE
