We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and possess the necessary expertise to support our attorneys in all aspects of case management and legal proceedings.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence related to family law cases such as divorce, child custody, spousal support, and child support.

Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and regulations to support case preparation and strategy.

Maintain and organize case files, including electronic and physical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel to coordinate meetings, depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

Assist with case scheduling, calendar management, and deadline tracking to ensure timely completion of tasks and filings.

Provide administrative support as needed, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and performing other office duties to facilitate efficient operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a paralegal, with a focus on family law preferred.

Proficiency in legal research and writing, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.

Knowledge of court procedures and filing requirements in family law matters.
