Our company is seeking an Automotive Technician to run diagnostic tests on vehicles and repair mechanical problems related to engines, powertrains, and chassis. The successful candidate for this position will be a hands-on type of person who enjoys diagnosing mechanical problems and working with customers. The right candidate will be motivated and hardworking with a strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

Accurately identify concern, cause, and correction

Know how to follow the latest repair procedure for warranty repairs

Write a full detailed warranty story to cover all necessary labor operations

Consistently verify repair completed

Complete repairs in a timely manner

Engage with customer when give the opportunity

Communicate clearly with coworkers

Return completed multi-point inspections on every vehicle in a timely manner

Consistently maintain a clean work area

Keep oil and dirt out of vehicle

Learn to set and reach flat rate time goals

Skills:

Advanced level mechanical- skills to complete repairs

Basic Computer skills- ability to navigate and function in various programs required for the job

Technological ability- stay up to date with various models' technology

Communication- listening, speaking, and writing for both coworkers and customers

Detail oriented- ability to inspect & identify worn, broken, and maintenance repairs

Personal Management- manage tasks, set priorities, training, and adapt to change

Learning skill- ability to learn more and change as job evolves
