Job Description:
Are you an ASE certified mechanic with extensive experience in vehicle repair and maintenance? Mega Auto Sales is seeking highly skilled and dedicated mechanics to join our dynamic team. We specialize in automotive repair and pride ourselves on delivering top-notch service to our clients. We are always super busy, offering you plenty of work and the opportunity for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Conduct inspections and identify potential problems.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues.
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks).
- Provide excellent customer service and explain technical issues in layman's terms.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic with ASE certification.
- Must have own tools.
- 5-7 years of experience: $27.50 per hour.
- 10 years of experience: $30.00 per hour.
- 15 years of experience: $35.00 per hour.
- 15 years of experience as a Master Mechanic/Shop Manager: $40.00 per hour.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
