Hourly position. Paid every two weeks.

Seasonal position based at Fairchild Air Force Base

Position expected to run through October

We are looking for someone who will maintain quality and control standards when conducting and completing work and, has the ability to train, coach, and evaluate crew members. You will oversee and complete various grounds/landscape maintenance activities as instructed by management.

Summary:

This position will be responsible for communicating with management regarding any resources needed to complete duties. The ideal candidate for this position is reliable, safety conscious, excels both independently and as a member of a team, and has effective time management skills. Crew leads may be asked to perform trimming, pruning, and other duties as assigned in order to meet contractual and scheduling needs.

Education/Experience:

We prefer applicants with one to two years of crew lead experience in grounds maintenance or landscape maintenance; however, we will train the ideal candidate.

We are looking for someone with experience safely operating various landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, pruning shears, chainsaws, etc.).

You must also have empathy and respect for individuals with disabilities.

Other Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18+ years of age and have a safe driving record determined by Skils'kin's vehicle insurance carrier.

Must be able to obtain a Federal Contractors Badge upon employment.

Must be available to work primarily M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Seasonal position - Full-time - 35 to 40 hours/week).

Scheduled shifts and hours are subject change depending on weather and/or contractual needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

Position pays hourly wage with an additional fringe benefit amount per hour toward employee's health and welfare benefits which includes options for medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k).

Employees also receive paid sick leave and earn paid time off.
