We are looking for someone who will maintain quality and control standards when conducting and completing work and, has the ability to train, coach, and evaluate crew members. This position will be responsible for communicating and working closely with The Operations Manager regarding any resources needed to complete duties. The ideal candidate for this position is reliable, safety conscious, excels both independently and as a member of a team, and has effective time management skills. Supervisor will be asked to perform custodial tasks to include running floor maintenance machinery and occasionally mowing, trimming, blowing, pruning, snow removal during snow season. As well as any other duties as assigned in order to meet contractual and scheduling needs.

Education/Experience:

We prefer applicants with one to two years of crew lead experience in custodial and floor care work.

We are looking for someone with experience safely operating and train people on the use of floor care equipment including buffers high speed burnishers and scrubbers.

Work during the growing season may include various landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, pruning shears, chainsaws, etc.) and snow removal during winter months.

You must also have empathy and respect for individuals with disabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

This is an hourly paid position and pay is issued every two weeks. As required by the Service Contract Act, Skils'kin pays an additional fringe benefit amount toward the employee's health and welfare benefits which includes options for medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k). Employees also receive paid sick leave and earn paid time off.

Other Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age and have a safe driving record determined by Skils'kin's vehicle insurance carrier.

Must be able to obtain a Federal Contractors Badge upon employment.

Must be available to work primarily M-F 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (not a Seasonal position - Full-time - 35 to 40 hours/week).

Scheduled shifts and hours are subject to change depending on weather and/or contractual needs.
