Overview:
We are seeking Construction Laborers to join DW Excavating, Inc. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction tasks to support the completion of projects.
Duties:
- Assist in loading and unloading materials
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines as permitted
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
- Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth to prepare for construction
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Help with setting up and securing job sites
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods
- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Certification in construction-related areas
- Experience with excavation/construction work
- Experience in public works infrastructure
