Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Tech / Supervisor to join our team at Quality Cleaning. You will be responsible for overseeing the floor projects for our client and the training of new hires. This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff
- Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Inspect buildings regularly to ensure cleanliness and identify areas in need of attention
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication
- Conduct inspections and provide feedback to cleaning staff
Requirements
-Bilingual - English / Spanish is a plus
-Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services
-Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing, strip & wax carpet cleaning, and other specialized treatments
-Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas in need of improvement
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
-Effective communication skills to interact with staff at all levels
-Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as required
