Be the Heart of a Home that Truly Cares

Are you a compassionate, experienced caregiver ready to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a dedicated Resident Manager (RM) to join our close-knit team and help lead the day-to-day care and operations of our 8-resident Adult Family Home. This isn’t just a job—it’s a leadership role where your skills, heart, and integrity will make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role

As the RM, you’ll work directly with the owner and home manager to ensure the home operates smoothly and meets the highest standards of care. You’ll typically work 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed to maintain consistent support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct, client-centered care in alignment with each resident’s Negotiated Care Plan.

Manage medications, documentation, and emergency notifications.

Train, support, and coordinate care staff to ensure exceptional care and teamwork.

Monitor and ensure compliance with Washington State DSHS regulations.

Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents’ needs—including dementia, developmental disabilities, and other special populations.

Communicate clearly with families, staff, medical professionals, and case managers.

Oversee daily home operations, including ordering supplies and upholding safety protocols.

Step in to cover care shifts when needed to ensure consistent, quality care.

What We’re Looking For

You are:

A natural leader who is ethical, dependable, and motivated by purpose.

Compassionate and respectful, especially when working with residents with complex needs.

Organized, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities with calm efficiency.

A clear communicator who values collaboration and accountability.

Comfortable stepping into a care shift when needed and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Able to pass a background check and TB test (required).

Reliable and committed, with your own transportation.

Minimum Requirements:

Current CNA or HCA license in good standing

Nurse Delegation Core & Diabetes Certification

Specialty Certificates: Mental Health, Dementia, Developmental Disabilities

Current Food Handler’s Card and First Aid/CPR Certification

High School Diploma or GED

Documentation of continuing education credits and required training

Compensation & Schedule

$23–$25 per hour, depending on experience

30 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Must be available to cover shifts as needed (including nights/weekends)
