Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Care Aides (HCAs) with specific qualifications in Alzheimer's and Dementia care to join our team in Spokane, Washington. As a CNA/HCA at Precision Home Care LLC, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing comprehensive care and support tailored to their individual needs.

Responsibilities:

- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to clients with Alzheimer's and Dementia.

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

- Monitor and record vital signs and other health-related information as needed.

- Engage clients in meaningful activities and exercises to promote cognitive function and mental stimulation.

- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team to ensure continuity of care.

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

- Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA and Agency policy guidelines.

Functional Abilities:

- Is able to carry bundles upstairs weighing up to 10 pounds.

- Must be able to stoop and bend.

- Must be able to travel to prospective client’s place of residence.

- Must be able to hear and effectively communicate in English.

Qualifications:

- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) with a valid certification in the state of Washington.

- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CNA or HCA, preferably in a home care or assisted living setting.

- Specialized training or experience in Alzheimer's and Dementia care.

- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Must have a high school diploma/equivalent.

- Able to pass a background check.

- Speaks, reads, and writes and able to communicate effectively in English.
