Adult Individual with physical and intellectual challenges needs a care provider. Would prefer a male care provider.
No experience necessary. On-the job-training is provided.
Looking for an individual who has a good work ethic and has the desire to follow a step by step daily routine based care plan. Also, will maintain a healthy, happy and safe environment for our son.
He is partial assist throughout much of his daily routine, but due to his intellectual capacity, he needs an individual who can safely assist him with full physical stands and transfers as needed. He is approximately 6'3" and 180lbs.
Duties include:
Assist daily living responsibilities includes: cooking, cleaning, assistance with medications.
Keeping him safe in his living environment.
Completing and maintaining daily logs
Transporting him to community activities, such as going to the movies, mall, park, etc.
Engaging him with positive reinforcement and assisting him to become as independent with his basic living skills.
Qualifications Include:
21 years of age with valid drivers license.
CPR/first aid certification
Assistance with medications certification. (two 4 hour classes given at NIC training center. Can be employed while taking the course)
Must be able to pass a Idaho state background check
Hours that are available are:
WEDNESDAY 9A-8 or 9P
THURSDAY 9A-8 or 9P
FRIDAY 9A-8 or 9P
SATURDAY 9a-8 or 9p
Also, must be available to fill in for other caregiver as needed.
