The DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF / FIRE MARSHAL will provide guidance, supervision and support of the City’s Fire Plan Review process and Life Safety Fire Code Inspections. This position will work closely with city and county personnel on Code Enforcement issues and may respond to emergency incidents and provide Duty Officer staffing as needed.
The normal work schedule is 40-hours per week, 8-hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday through Friday). Working evenings or weekends may be required. The hourly wage rate is calculated at 2,080 hours per year. The exact schedule may be flexible, depending on the requirements of the Department and the demands of the workload, and are assigned and approved by the Fire Chief.
