Arctos Coffee & Roasting Co. is now accepting resumes for a part time barista. Experience PREFERRED but willing to train the right person. This candidate needs some open availability to work other shifts when needed.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is organized, responsible, punctual, self-motivated and has excellent interpersonal skills. Arctos Coffee is built on exceptional coffee and customer service experience. We are looking for people who are passionate about performing those two objectives at the highest level.
CORE TASKS
Dial in espresso quickly and easily on a daily basis.
Take orders in a timely and orderly fashion.
Steam milk properly and learn the art of pouring latte art.
Maintain a positive attitude at all times, especially when working under pressure.
Ensure café is kept clean and tidy.
CHARACTERISTICS
Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for coffee.
Strong attention to detail and a healthy respect for cleanliness and sanitation.
Excitement about the task of ensuring that each customer has a quality experience in our café.
Create a rapport with customers by learning their names and favorite drinks.
Accurately process transactions on the POS system.
Communicate with all team members and management to solve problems and improve service.
Open to criticism and constantly striving to improve.
Ability to multi-task with ease.
