Baker Wanted! 32 to 34 hours a week Monday through Friday
Do you like to bake and are you a morning person? Join our team as a baker!
Hours will vary but will be anywhere from 32 to 34 hours a week, Monday through Thursday with some weekend coverage when needed.
What you will be baking from scratch:
-bagels
-bagel rolls
-cinnamon rolls & fruit rolls
-bread
-muffins
-scones
-cookies
-soups
-bars (oat, pumpkin, lemon, Nanaimo)
-quiche
-syrups & sauces
-vegan items
- fulfilling occasional large baking orders
Wage will be dependent upon experience, but tips are included (range anywhere from $20 to $60 a day).
Requirements:
- RELIABILITY IS A MUST IN THIS POSITION!
- Be available Monday - Thursday from 5am to 1pm
- Be able to start no later than 5am and stay after 1pm if needed
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must have reliable transportation
- Have or be able to obtain a food handlers permit
- Be able to work independently but understand simple instructions
- Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Able to receive constructive feedback
- Communication! You will be communicating on a daily basis with the GM, Assistant Manager, and Food Prep
