Part Time Seasonal Baker Job Description (5a to 1:30p shifts available)
The Baker is responsible for assisting with the production of pies, including: dough prep, making fillings, assembling and baking pies, packaging, and cleaning the kitchen
Part Time 25-35 hours per week (5am to 1:30pm availability) from May-September
Primary Duties:
● Assist with dough production including: cutting butter, measuring flour, mixing, weighing and rolling dough; pressing dough into pans, crimping crusts
● Make fillings according to instructions
● Assemble and bake pies
● Ensure that all raw and baked goods adhere to quality and food safety standards
● Package and label pies
● Keep records relating to inventory and production levels
● Clean and restock kitchen workstations and ensure that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
● Other duties as assigned
Primary Qualifications:
● Bakery experience a plus
● Loves people, loves pie
● Personable, friendly

● Passionate about local and organic ingredients and handmade products
● Basic math skills
● Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods
● Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, fulfill orders, and create amazing pie
● Attention to detail
● Ability to multitask and prioritize
● Idaho Food Handlers permit required
● Must be able to lift 50 pounds
● Willing to work weekends and holidays
