Home Manager / Nanny
Overview
We are a professional couple who run multiple businesses. We have had home managers / personal assistants for many years and now, later in life, have decided to become parents. We are searching for someone to work with full-time who is interested in sharing home management and child care responsibilities with us.
Since we are first-time parents, we will be discovering our preferences about how much assistance we will want in child care vs. other home management responsibilities. There may be the option of housing included in a mother-in-law suite in our home. We will be happy to provide references of previous home managers / personal assistants / chefs / personal trainers who have worked with us.
Position Responsibilities
Child care of an infant with expected delivery date 08.05.24
Menu planning of a fresh, flavorful, healthy, non-processed, mostly whole food and plant-based diet
Grocery shopping, preparation and cooking
Maintain home organization
Light cleaning
Laundry
Errands / Miscellaneous
Characteristics Desired
Experience in infant care and early childhood development
Autonomous: Able to take overall direction well & then confidently making decisions within the role.
Organized: Able to efficiently prioritize, manage and execute a large range of diverse responsibilities.
Tidy and organized: we use a professional housecleaning service and like to keep the home clean and organized.
Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality. This role is a significant part of our personal and professional lives and the successful candidate will respect and maintain privacy.
Knowledgeable about nutrition & preparation of a fresh, health diet. (Gourmet chef skills are not required. However, comfort in the kitchen & willingness to explore and expand cooking skills on the job is required).
Happy and competent in all aspects of the role. This position has a wide-range of responsibilities and requires someone who embraces the diversity of responsibility. (If the candidate dislikes any of the responsibilities listed above, this position will not be the right fit.)
Other Details
The location is Spokane / Coeur d’Alene
This is a full-time position with exact hours to be determined
This is a long-term position. Students / persons who desire transitional / temporary work are not a good fit.
Requires ability to pass a full background / criminal / credit check & able to provide verifiable references.
Requires a reliable vehicle with proper insurance. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
Compensation will depend on experience and skills.
