Holt Surveying and Mapping, Inc., is a small company that has experienced substantial growth.
Rick L. Holt, Owner/President has 35 years of experience in surveying. His knowledge is invaluable and the level of professionalism is unmatched.
We are looking to hire a Surveying and Mapping Technician with some experience preferred.
Surveying and Mapping Technician's duties -
Use AutoCAD software to produce detailed subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other various survey related maps or exhibits.
Research boundary and easement title documents and perform boundary analysis
Use field crew data files (CSV & job files), field sketches, photos, and reference maps to create surveys
Verify completeness and suitability of survey data as it pertains to project deliverables
Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for right of way, easements, acquisition parcels, etc.
Must possess strong verbal/written communication skills, the ability to produce work independently, and effectively coordinate with team members
Report job discrepancies in a timely manner to team leads and management
Proactive and organized, the candidate effectively manages multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned
This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable more reliable than spontaneous
Requirements:
· Associate degree or higher is preferred but not required
· Working knowledge of land development desktop, AutoCAD
· Prior relevant experience (6 months+ )
· Strong communication (written & verbal) and technical skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Can self-manage priorities, and discuss issues to management
· Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Pay: TBD by experience
