Job Description: J&K Commercial Construction has expanded and opened a sheet metal manufacturing division in Post Falls, ID. We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team. You will leverage your expertise in AutoCAD/Solid Works software to create detailed designs for our metal manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities will include:
Create detailed CAD drawings and designs for various construction projects.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop design specifications.
Utilize software such as AutoCAD and Solid Works to produce accurate models.
Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on improvements or modifications.
Requirements:
Intern-Minimum 2 years’ experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks
Mid-Level 3-5 years’ experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks
2-5 years’ experience with AutoCAD and Solid Works
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, and other CAD software.
Strong design skills with an understanding of sheet metal processes.
Experience in 3D modeling of structures and equipment systems
Experience with detailing of sheet metal
Experience with shop fabrication drawings
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
