We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced elementary teacher to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and our school's holistic approach.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to cater to different learning styles.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate mind-body practices into the curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State teaching certification for elementary education.
Proven experience as an elementary teacher.
Background in Special Education or Occupational Therapy is a plus but not required.
Strong understanding of child development and educational psychology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Additional Information:
Flexible days and hours initially, with potential to increase to full-time.
