We are looking for a Motel Manager who can live on-site and manage the day-to-day operations of our motel.
We are located in Chewelah, WA, just 40 miles north of Spokane. The manager (s) live on-site and manage the 14-unit motel, which includes a 26-space RV Park. This is a perfect position for a couple.
The manager(s) will provide the highest standards in customer service and room/facility cleanliness. Persons will work with the public and maintain housekeeping protocol, daily bookkeeping, facility maintenance, RV Park + Motel operation, daily troubleshooting, and negotiating to ensure customers enjoy their experience and stay with us.
Prior motel experience/knowledge or business management experience is essential. However, we will strongly consider someone with proven customer service experience who has strong problem-solving and discretionary decision-making skills. The ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues related to the property is a must.
This position can be physically demanding, requiring periodic bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, stepping on ladders, negotiating large steps, and lifting 30-40 pounds.
Candidates must pass a background check before the starting date.
Base, plus commission on sales goals and more.
Base compensation package ranges from $2600 - $3000 for the right person plus incentives for meeting sales goals.
In addition, the compensation package includes a large, unfurnished 3-bedroom house with a fenced yard. We value the rent at $1000 a month plus an additional $400 in utilities, both of which are part of your compensation package.
