We are a small but growing construction company who is looking for some help maintaining our accounting records and improving our bookkeeping operations. The following are some of the responsibilities that would be included in your tasks.
- Daily invoicing
- Maintaining billing records for multiple large client accounts
- Accounts receivables recordings and maintenance
- Weekly payroll (under 15 employees)
- Monthly reconciling of bank accounts (in Quickbooks)
- Monthly reporting of sales and income tax
- Quarterly reporting for UI & L&I
- Quarterly reporting for insurance audits
- Regular maintenance of records in Quickbooks
- Maintenance of new employee records
- Additional administrative / financial tasks as needed
Requirements to be considered for the position:
- Expertise and experience navigating Quickbooks and Excel
- High Technical acumen is a must (working with online scheduling platforms, multiple builder interfaces, etc).
- Strong ability to organize large quantities of moderately complex information
- Strong ability to follow existing processes, and create new ones where needed
- Ability to understand many different processes while maintaining accuracy of details
- Accounting degree is a plus, but not required if the appropriate combination of skills and experience are met
