Express Employment Professionals is seeking a sales-oriented Licensed Agent to join a rapidly growing insurance company that serves Skagit, Island and Whatcom counties. In this role, you’ll get to sell policies that protect vehicle owners and home owners from financial loss through damage, accidents, theft, etc. This is a career opportunity in which longevity and loyalty are highly valued. Inside Sales Representative/Licensed Insurance Agent
Pay rate:$50,000 to $90,000/year (this is base pay and commission combined)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
What you get to do:
- Develop relationships with current customers through account management
- Create relationships with prospective customers through networking, referrals, etc.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote new products and services
- Be a resource to customers, answering their questions and inquires via phone, email and in-person meetings
- Provide quotes/calculate premiums and establish payment methods
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Monitor insurance claims
- Attend community events such as Chamber Luncheons
What you need to be successful:
- Property and casualty license (currently or willing to obtain before start date)
- Experience in sales, cold-calling, telemarketing, business development, account management and/or customer service
- Determination, motivation and reliability
- Superior relationship-building skills
