This is a wide ranging position to support both administrative and operational roles in a dairy, cheesemaking, and retail shop business.
We are seeking a reliable, highly motivated individual with basic office and technology skills. Ample training will be provided to learn the specifics of the dairy business and help you grow in your career.
The job includes assisting with and maintaining a variety of spreadsheets; maintaining documentation for organic certification; making some local deliveries and pickups; invoicing and sales reports in Quickbooks and Square; creating and printing, as needed, labels and point of purchase and promotional materials; maintaining customer contact lists and sending out promotional mailings; helping maintain our website, www.samishbay.com, and online listings; back up coverage in retail shop, including employee breaks
35 - 40 hours per week; initially 8:00 or 8:30 AM to 4:00 or 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. May vary over time and will include some weekend time as needed. Reports to owner.
Required: Android system and Windows/Microsoft Suite including excellent proficiency in Excel. Clean driving record.
Experience preferred and must be able to master: Microsoft Publisher and graphics programs, Wordpress, Mailchimp, Quickbooks, Square, and Social Media, including Instagram.
