Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a company that has been providing tax services to individuals and businesses in a variety of industries for 30+ years to recruit an accountant.
As an accountant you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting month-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
What you get to do:
· Usage of QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)
·Cover phones
·Payroll
·B&O monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
·Tax returns (business and individual)
·Audits
What you need to be successful:
·Proficient knowledge of accounting software
·Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
·Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 (DOE)
