Job Description:
This position is focused on the install of boat systems and hardware, including plumbing, tanks, wire harnesses, engines, thru-hulls, gunwale, bilge pumps, minor lamination, deck rigging and hatches, and assisting with window installation. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical and electrical installation systems. Knowledge of 12 volt and 120 volt electrical and HVAC systems is preferred. Employees are required to own and operate thier own hand and power tools necessary for the position (Aspen has an employee assistance tool purchase program for employees to acquire the tools needed for the job).
The following are required to excel at this positon.
Mechanical aptitude
Understand 12-volt cicuit electricity
Basic installation of 120-volt circuits, breakers and outlets
Basic plumbing with hoses and PEX tubing
Know how to use basic hand tools and measuring devices
