Job Description
Position: Maintenance / Custodian / Dock Worker
Reports To: Marina Manager
Benefits: Full Time, $Hourly Wage Based on Experience, Medical Benefits
Job Function: Ensure safe and clean environment for all Owners, Tenants and guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Use of hand tools, power tools and power equipment as required to complete a wide variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks.
2. Open building and secure facilities as required.
3. Clean and paint facility as required including buildings, docks and grounds.
4. Clean and sanitize Restrooms.
5. Other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Able to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
2. Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with supervisors and staff.
3. Flexibility to adjust your work schedule to meet the needs of the Marina.
4. Physical ability and stamina to do the work normally assigned and expected of a marina worker. Able to safely lift and carry loads of up to 50 pounds, work on ladders and in high places as needed and comfortable in an outdoor marine environment.
5. Demonstrated skill to work independently and with a minimum of supervision.
6. Demonstrated personal skills and a work history showing skills in decision making and ability to work well with staff and Marina patrons.
7. Demonstrated ability to be on the job and on time, on a consistent basis.
8. Prior maintenance and marine experience a plus.
