Responsibilities:
We run a dressage horse training/sales/breeding operation with 80+ horses in Sedro Woolley, WA. There are also 150 sheep, 75 goats and 6 large well trained draft horses. The farm has 3 100+ hp tractors, square baler, round baler, rakes, mowers, tedder, and much more. We are looking for a well experience individual that can operate and do basic maintenance on all of this equipment and more. We are looking to build out a state of the art, world class facility.
Requirements:
-The applicant must have the desire and ability to do quality construction, maintenance and repairs on buildings, fences, gates, and plumbing.
-Handling, feeding and riding experience with young horses is required.
-Much of the farm work and haying is done with the draft horses.
-Experience with draft horses is not required, but experience with horses and machinery, and a desire to farm with draft horses is required. We can teach you how to work with the draft horses.
