Siblings seeking a warm, friendly caregiver for our mother with dementia in Mount Vernon. She is 73 and physically able bodied. Candidates who have experience working with people with memory loss are preferred but not required. Duties include companionship, cooking, housekeeping, medication administration, and personal care+hygiene tasks. Seeking a 2 hour shift Monday-Friday 730am- 930am. Potential for more hours in the future depending on needs. During these mornings shifts you would help our Mom get ready for the day by; changing overnight diaper, support using the toilet, dressing, washing face, applying lotion/sunscreen, and fixing hair, nails, teeth, followed by cooking breakfast, administering morning medicationss, feeding support and cleaning/tidying.
