Sharing shifts with our returning Food Service Manager, this role will be responsible for helping preparing meals for the Camp Nor'wester community – approximately 250 people. Experience in cooking for large groups preferred, but will help train someone with the interest in learning and growing. Could also share in supervisory support and leadership of the Kitchen Team (cooks, assistants, and dishwashers) with the Kitchen Manager. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Requires current WA State Food Handler’s Card.
This role is ESSENTIAL to successfully running Camp each summer. While the responsibilities do not include camper supervision and unit support, they fill an integral role in daily camp operations, providing support in a variety of areas very necessary to Camp and are integrated within the camp community. Lodging, meals, laundry, and training included. Transportation assistance possible. Flexible start/end dates, pay negotiable, with season running June 7th - August 22nd.
