Cashier//Barista

What does a Cashier - Barista do?
Provides excellent customer service to all guests.
Able to work under pressure and maintains a calm demeanor at all times.
Maintains shop cleanliness, properly handle and maintain all equipment and anticipates the customer's needs.
Someone who always arrives for their shift on time and maintains consistent attendance.
Able to work flexible hours that include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and possible holidays.
Is a great multi-tasker and able to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
Prepares beverages, food products and handles cash, strong attention to detail.
Meets shop operation policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and shop safety and security.
Summary of Experience
1 year experience preferred.
1 year experience with POS system preferably Toast.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Retail, hospitality and/or customer service experience preferred
Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
Ability to multi-task.
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to problem solve quickly.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to obtain food handlers certificate within 14 days of hire.
Ability to follow all federal, state and Island County health Department standards and regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.28 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience

Weekend availability necessary.
Ability to commute to Oak Harbor, WA 98277 reliable transportation and driver’s license required.
Experience:
