We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
What you get to do:
Perform accounts payable duties including coding and processing invoices to the general ledger with a high degree of accuracy
Process accounts payable checks and EFT’s daily for timely payment
Analyze and reconcile vendor accounts
Maintain listing of untaxed items for company usage and provide listing to accountant at month end for Department of Revenue return
Ensure accounts payable is closed timely for month end financial reporting
Assist staff and vendors with billing, coding and payment questions
Assist customers that call-in with billing, service and payment questions
Maintain confidentiality on all vendors and their payment history
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor
What you need to be successful:
Demonstrate intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Demonstrate proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Word, Outlook & Teams
Possess an extremely high level of attention to detail, initiative, discretion and independent judgment with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task
3+ years accounts payable experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 (DOE)
