The CRNA administers anesthesia to patients undergoing various diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and obstetric procedures. Ensures patient safety by closely monitoring anesthetized and sedated patients. Reports on patients conditions and reactions throughout procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Examines patient's histories for illnesses or allergies that will affect anesthesia

Conducts pre-anesthesia assessment of patient; provides education to patient about procedure and recovery as well as impacts of anesthesia

Orders appropriate diagnostic/laboratory studies

Administers pre-anesthetic medication, general anesthesia and adjuvant drugs; determines type, amount, dosages

Monitors, interprets, manages and responds to information obtained from monitors intraoperatively

Conducts post-anesthesia assessment and management

Executes regional anesthesia techniques to include: ?neuraxial blocks (spinals/epidurals) and peripheral/truncal nerve blocks (interscalene, axillary, supraclavicular, adductor canal, femoral, popliteal, bier, TAP, others as indicated)

Performs other responsibilities as assigned

Employees are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.Required Education and ExperienceGraduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.Required Licenses, Certifications and/or RegistrationsCurrent RN and ARNP licensure for the state of Washington; complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning advanced practice registered nursing.Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).Pay Details: $210,000.00 to $222,000.00 per yearBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
