A Shipping Coordinator at Baden will have the opportunity to work in multiple areas of the Distribution Center on any given day. Tasks can include shipment creation and routing, communicating with freight companies, pick/pack/ship, order management tasks in our ERP system, label printing & sorting, as well as trailer loading and unloading, pallet movement, picking, receiving, and shipping product, cleaning, and many others.

Responsibilities:
-Communicate with Freight Carriers to confirm rates, schedule pick ups, etc…
-Evaluate rates and service levels in Transportation Management System and book shipments
-Verify and palletize LTL shipments
-Print labels and sort accurately
-Pay attention to detail and inspect orders for accuracy and quality
-Review orders in ERP system and generate pick tickets if needed
-Operate Powered Lift Equipment (Order Picker, Fork Lift) as required
-Pick & Pack Orders efficiently and accurately
-Receive, organize product onto pallets, and put product away
-Good Housekeeping practices in Warehouse and on Equipment
-Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
-Comfortable using MS Office programs and email
-Reading, writing and basic math skills are required
-Standing for extended periods of time
-Bending, pushing and pulling
-Lifting 25 to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment
-Ability & willing to operate Powered Lift Equipment at heights of 30 feet. Training is provided as applicable, but some
Lift Equipment experience is preferred.
-Must maintain high attendance standards and be trustworthy
-Work with others to achieve team goals
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
-18 years of age or older
-Shipping/Freight Coordination experience is strongly preferred but not required
-Warehouse experience is helpful, but not required
-Available to work extended hours if needed

-Compensation from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour DOE
