Night shift floral strike crew for events in Seattle and greater

Must be able to work between 9pm-2am. Shift duration is between 1-3hours.

Must be able to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the US. 1099 will be required once hired

Must be comfortable to drive a large van

responsible for disassembling and removing event flower setups after an event has concluded. This typically involves physically dismantling structures, packing up fragile items, and cleaning flower debris at the wedding venues (each week will be different venues and locations depending on the jobs). The job requires physical stamina, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Disassembly:

Taking down floral installation, decorations, and other floral related.

Packing:

Carefully packing away vases, props, and materials, often using moving equipment like dollies, wagons, carts.

Loading:

Loading trucks or other vehicles with dismantled equipment for transport.

Cleaning:

Ensuring the venue is left clean and tidy, including sweeping, removing trash, and potentially assisting with more specialized cleaning tasks.

Safety:

Working safely and efficiently, following instructions from supervisors and using equipment properly.

Teamwork:

Working collaboratively with other crew members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Flexibility:

Being available for events that may have varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Problem-solving:

Being able to adapt to unexpected situations and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the strike process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Strength and Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Manual Dexterity: Ability to use tools and equipment effectively.

Attention to Detail: Ensuring proper packing and handling of equipment to prevent damage.

Teamwork: Effectively collaborating with others to complete tasks.

Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate with supervisors and team members.

Adaptability: Being able to work in different environments and adjust to changing situations.

Experience: Previous experience in event setup, strike, or related fields (such as construction or warehouse work) is often preferred but not always required, according to job postings.
