WORKING COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
Well-established construction company seeking an experienced public works construction superintendent to join our team. With over 30 years of experience, we have established a respected reputation in the industry. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and maintain safe, professional, and respectful working sites.
Manage all aspects of the on-site construction process, including coordination of all field activities and scheduling, managing subcontractors and vendors, and communication with the project team on field changes, RFI’s and change orders.
· Ensure accuracy of materials being installed and oversee quality control.
· Perform weekly jobsite safety meetings and maintain safety logs.
· Participate professionally in project/site meetings with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
· Maintain confidentiality regarding personnel, client and all company related matters.
· Develop an understanding of company culture, processes, and project operations.
· Perform construction activities, including but not limited to: demo, loading/hauling materials, rough carpentry, installation of doors, frames, and hardware, light finish work, and other related tasks when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer at least 10 years of commercial construction experience with 3 years in supervision and/or related management or equivalent.
OSHA 30 Certification, CPR Certification, and other safety certifications preferred but willing to train.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Construction Certification or College degree preferred but not required.
Driver’s License (Required).
WORK LOCATIONS:
Multiple locations throughout the Puget Sound area – primarily within King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties.
