We are seeking a skilled and experienced EL02 Residential Journeyman Electrician Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a journeyman, and the ability to immediately step into a leadership role at our company. In this position, candidates are responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks and projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Additionally, this role will involve overseeing and mentoring electrical apprentices to support their development and growth in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
- Communicate with customers to answer any questions and ensure overall satisfaction
- Oversee and mentor electrical apprentices, providing guidance and support in their learning
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid WA EL02 Residential Journeyman Electrician license
- Must possess a valid Washington driver’s license and good driving record
- Strong knowledge and up-to-date familiarity of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proven experience working on and leading residential electrical projects such as new construction, remodels, service upgrades, rewiring, etc.
- Deep familiarity with various types of electrical systems, fixtures, and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
