Job Site Lead - Roles & Responsibilities
Must be detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, dedicated, well-presented and hardworking. Tasks include, but not limited to: rough carpentry, framing, finish carpentry, drywall, painting, and all aspects of residential construction, remodeling, and maintenance. You must have the ability to take initiative and offer support and hands-on skills to each project Supervisor in a lead role. You should also be able to assist with the management and flow of the jobsite. Responsible for checking in/checking out subcontractors and visitors and upholding safety standards and quality control.
Lead Description
The MBR Lead is the second in command on a job site behind the site Supervisor. They are responsible for keeping a clean, safe and organized job site. The Lead plays a key role in keeping the job site progress moving forward.
The lead must understand the scope/primary objective of the project.
The lead must understand, practice, teach, and enforce the ways of MBR Site Conduct on a daily basis: Clean, Friendly, Top Quality and Efficiency.
The lead must report all questions and concerns to the Supervisor in a timely manner, and efficiently use email, text AND phone as lines of communication.
The lead must practice and teach the basic tenets of Carpentry: Level, Plumb, Square, Straight, Clean.
When not doing carpentry work, the job lead should be prepping for the next phase of the project, cleaning the work site, double checking sub work, etc.
